Introduction

Cat's claw is an annual herb of the genus Ranunculus of the Ranunculaceae family. It is widely distributed in plain wet grasslands or wastelands 

beside fields. It grows in both my country and Japan. It is rich in various active ingredients, and its tubers or whole herb can be used as medicine.
