Introduction

Ivy is a woody vine of the Araliaceae family, native to Europe and parts of West Asia. It grows best in warm, humid and cool places and is often used as an ornamental

plant. It tastes bitter, is slightly cold and non-toxic, and contains a variety of active ingredients such as hederacoside. The whole plant can be used as medicine.
